Retrobridge testnet
RetroBridge’s testing tools covered cross-chain practice and test-token supply through its Testnet Bridge and Multichain Faucet. Primex described these products in its August 6, 2024 partnership announcement.
Updated on- Testnet Bridge
- Bridging and other activity on new networks’ testnets, within the ecosystem Primex described in August 2024.
- Multichain Faucet
- Testnet tokens for early network exploration, intended to ease pressure on individual network faucets in that same description.
Practice before mainnet
Cowchain’s development case study describes testing cross-chain transactions before deploying assets on mainnet.
Token supply and bridge-route support address different requirements. Access to faucet tokens alone does not establish which networks or assets the Testnet Bridge supports.
Quest participation
The RetroBridge Explorer quest listed separate visits to the Testnet Bridge, Dapp Explorer, and Multichain Faucet. Its testnet entry requested a page visit; that requirement alone does not establish a completed bridge transfer.
Testnet tool checklist
- For test-token supply, check the faucet’s coverage for the intended network.
- For transfer practice, confirm the bridge’s route and asset requirements separately from faucet coverage.
- For activity today, confirm current bridge and faucet availability; the August 2024 announcement establishes historical product roles.
