Retrobridge: Planning a First Advanced Mode Transfer
RetroBridge is a cross-chain bridge. Its May 11, 2024 Advanced Mode announcement described transfers from one source-network address to multiple destination networks, with payouts after source confirmation.
Updated on- Funding route
- Direct transfers into RetroBridge’s concentrated liquidity on the source chain, without smart contracts, under the documented Advanced Mode.
- Payout source
- RetroBridge’s hot wallets on the destination chains, which distribute assets to the specified networks and addresses after source confirmation.
- Discount eligibility
- The May 2024 announcement described Advanced Mode discounts for Sunrise Journey participants holding a Sunrise NFT.
What needs deciding before the first deposit?
A transfer plan needs a source network and a list of destination networks and recipient addresses. Decide the amount to send and the intended distribution before committing funds.
Check current route availability and applicable charges for the intended transfer. The 2024 announcement does not establish today’s available routes or total cost. Keep the plan unfunded while those inputs remain unresolved; you can revise it or stop before sending anything.
Which execution mode fits the order set?
Fast Mode targeted urgent transfers in the May 11, 2024 announcement. It described processing up to 50 bridging orders within 5-10 minutes, with an additional fee for faster service. The announcement did not specify that fee’s amount.
Sequence Mode spaced bridging orders at intervals of 5-15 minutes to reduce infrastructure load. RetroBridge presented this mode as the more economical option. Those intervals measure spacing between orders and leave the total batch completion time unspecified.
Who handles the destination payouts?
RetroBridge handles distribution from its own hot wallets after the source transaction confirms. The direct-transfer method therefore relies on the service executing every planned destination payout.
What establishes completion?
Source confirmation establishes the funding step, while completion requires the intended destination payouts. Check the recipient address and received assets on each destination network against the planned distribution. Fast Mode’s published processing window and Sequence Mode’s order spacing do not themselves establish receipt.
